What we collect

Newsletter: your email address and (optionally) your first name, the date you subscribed and confirmed, and whether you opened or clicked our emails.
Community accounts: your name, email, a securely hashed password, and the posts you write.
Videos: dedicated watch pages contain privacy-enhanced YouTube players that may connect to Google when the player comes into view. Preview players elsewhere load after you press play. Google and YouTube handle their own player data under Google's privacy policy.

How we use it

To send the emails you asked for, run the community, keep out spam, and understand which episodes people find useful. We never sell or rent your information.

Your choices

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
You can change your details or leave the newsletter from your account page.
To delete your account and posts, email us at the address in any of our newsletters and we'll remove them.

Cookies

We use an essential session cookie to keep you signed in and protect forms. No advertising cookies are enabled at launch. Your optional analytics choice is saved in your browser's local storage. When you allow Google Analytics, it measures page visits and interactions such as video play requests and YouTube links. We do not intentionally send email addresses, names, message contents, or private account pages to Analytics. You can change your choice using Privacy settings in the footer.

Google sign-in is optional. If you choose it, we use your verified email address, name, and Google account identifier to create or sign into your membership. We do not request Gmail, Drive, or YouTube account access for membership. Contact and story submissions are stored privately for review and response; they are not automatically published or added to a newsletter. Contact us to request removal.
